This is for a customer in Los Angeles, CA
that had his 2001 Honda Rebel in storage for
the past 6 months. He decided that he wanted
to sell his motorcycle and needed to get it
ready to sell. We towed the motorcycle from
Santa Monica to our motorcycle shop in Los Angeles
where we started to get the details of the motorcycle.
We could tell that the original owner lived
closed to the beach because the first thing
that we saw was the rust that was on most of
the chrome of the bike. The first step that
we took was to degrease the bike. After we hand
washed the motorcycle to get all the dirt and
remaining grease out. Blow drying the whole
bike on all the nooks and craning took all the
water and "spider webs" out.
After 2 hours of hand polishing all the painted
panels, chrome, spokes, waxing all painted panels,
tank and fenders, cleaning and condition all
leather, and thus the motorcycle was ready for
sale. The customer also left the motorcycle
with us for a full service including tune-up,
detailed to be ready on a Saturday, was ready
and picked up on the next day. Customer was
able to sell the 2001 Honda Rebel the same day.
